Massachusetts Turkey Brine

This herbed turkey brine is made with Massachusetts salt, herbs, spices and organic Massachusetts cranberries! 

Brining a turkey enhances both the texture and flavor of the meat. To brine: Empty contents of packet into 1 gallon of water and bring to a simmer until all the salt and sugar have dissolved. Let cool, pour into large pan or food safe bucket and add an additional gallon of cold water or stock, submerge your 14-16 lb. turkey and refrigerate 12-24 hours.

Remove your bird from the brine, pat dry and prepare as you normally do. Note: Don't brine kosher turkeys - they are already salted!
